BEST OF WEDDINGS 2011

So I just won the honors of being called "Best Of Weddings" in 2011 by the Knot. This is the second year in a row I have taken this award and I must say that I am thrilled! Acceptance speech as follows....

First off, I would like to thank EVERYONE client and associate alike that I have worked with over the years. Now when it comes to giving specific thanks, I hate doing this because I know that I am going to forget someone. And if I do, I will make some changes. I am just going off the top of my head at this point..... Its not only wonderful clients like, The Barongan's, The Holly's, The Castrigano, The White's, The Weimholt's The Koenig's, The Weitekamp's, The Uptons, The Breen's, The Sheridan's, The Edward's. The Morrow's, The Duke's, And The Layoun's. But its also awesome relationships I have made with vendors such as Carly Morgan (Disney Wedding Blog), Travis And Natalie Howard (More Than Words Photography), Christine Sultani (Fancy That), Connie and Ernie Garcia (Disney), Daniel Hoffman (Photography), Erin Donoghue (Your Event By Erin), The Wade's (Matchless Moments), James and Jamie Rury, Melissa McClure, DJ Mike Thomas (Higher Level Sound), Sandra Figueroa (Bride And Veil), Sean & Kate Capshaw (Resolusean), Bluewave Steve, Tracy Zemke (Personal Touch), Andy King, Carlos Lopez, Christine Fleming, and so on. Its people like that than mean so much to me. Thanks to my clients for being so wonderful and thanks to all my vendors that I work with so well. My promise is to always do the best I can. And if I ever stop loving this... I will retire.

Best Of Weddings 2010

So I was notified beginning of this year that I won "Best Of Weddings" for 2010 here in San Diego. This is something that "The Knot" publishes every year online and in there magazine. Basically they send out a poll for brides to fill out asking them who they used and how they were rated. The companies with the most hits won "Best Of". I am so thrilled to have won this honor... FINALLY! After all the years of hard work, attention and love for what I do. I finally was recognized in the community of not only DJ's but wedding professionals. I will be on cloud nine for quite some time now and I am very thankful to all my clients that have said such wonderful things about me in the past. It warms my heat like no other. With that, I say once again to everyone past and present that believes in me... THANK YOU!

Carlos Lopez Of Photo Masters

So a few months back a wonderful photographer from San Diego has moved to Texas to further other endeavors in his life. Carlos Lopez, owner of www.photomasters.us is no longer in San Diego. I have had the privilege of working with Carlos of over 6 years, and I will say without a doubt he is one of the best! Easy to work with, funny, very polite, professional and knowledgeable. I didn't just consider him a colleague but I also thought of him as a friend. I will miss my buddy Carlos very much. This blog goes out to anyone in the San Antonio, Texas area. If your in need of a great photographer, he is the one to talk to. Take care my friend! We will meet up again sometime.
